Civil War Muster at Bowen Mills

Mark and Malachi went to a Michigan football game, but Mandi, Cale, Cosette and Sadie went to spend the day near Gun Lake in Michigan, reliving the past. Malachi had gone earlier to another one on a very rainy day, but Cale had missed out because he had been sick. There are quite a few of these reenactments during the warm months in Michigan. It is pretty cool. We got to mill around the camps and see how they might have lived.
The kiddos got to try out the stocks....hmmmm, can I make one of these too? JUST KIDDING!

The battle is loud, but really neat to see. What a neat way to learn about history!
