Tubing Fun!
We went to Pando Winter Sports Park on Feb. 16, 2009
It was so much fun! You just hook your tube up to a rope and
ride up...
unhook and then ride down again!
The kiddos had so much fun.
Poor Sadie got way too cold though. Because we could ride up, she just stayed in the tube and we pulled her around. So for the first hour, she didn't move at all. Finally she realized that she was cold, and she was cold to the bone. I took her to the lodge to warm up, had some hot cocoa, and then tried a couple more runs, but she was just too cold clear through. By then, Cosette was cold too, so I took them both back to the lodge and then realized poor Sadie was soaking wet clear through all 3 layers! Fortunately, Cosette's snow suit kept out the wetness, so I took her middle layer of pants to let Sadie wear something warm and dry. Thank you Jesus for that one!
We spent the rest of the 30 minutes or so watching skiers come down by the lodge. We all had a lot of fun. They had a great Monday night deal too.
